The Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce named the annual small business, restaurant and volunteer of the year at a luncheon held on May 11th.
“All of our finalists and winners over the years have been critical to Sandy Springs’ success in so many ways, ”said Patty Conway, who has led it since its inception in 2009.“ We’re really lucky to live, work and play.in a town where residents and businesses support each other and the community at large.

Jeannie DiLuzio was honored as Volunteer of the Year by the chamber.
“I don’t think Sandy Springs is the community, if not for the volunteers who work in so many different areas of so many different nonprofits, schools, other organizations in our town,” Conway said.
After announcing the finalists and handing out the awards, keynote speaker Lynne Zappone advances business owners and managers through ways to become successful leaders, growing their company and their employees. .
“Now we’re talking about business, how to lead a successful business, whether it’s a small business, or you’re part of a larger organization,” he said.
She offers tips and tools to help them be successful in running their businesses.
“But I also want to focus now on how do you lead the team? How do you show the best to the people who work with you? It’s very important because they are always interacting with your clients with your customers. , ”Zappone said.
