Following the Kickstarter campaign that was successfully funded last year, CharaChorder has now started shipping CharaChorder Lite Multistroke offers a twist on the traditional keyboard. The unique keyboard allows users to press multiple keys simultaneously to output entire words or phrases in one keystroke, enabling you to type faster than you can even any other keyboard. “For example a user can chord the “word” by simply typing w+o+r+d simultaneously instead of typing w, then o, then r, then d individually.”
“Even if the devices have only just started shipping, many users are breaking their all-time personal records using the device, reaching speeds as high as +250 WPM. (The average speed of a qwerty user is only 40 WPM) This is even more important, since the mission of CharaChorder is to increase the average speed of sending human text to 250 WPM. This speed, which is equivalent to the average speed of adult reading comprehension, is also how CharaChorder defines ‘speed of thinking’.
