Rolls Royce has unveiled a facelift version of the Phantom, the car has received several upgrades including a variety of visual enhancements.
There is also a new Rolls Royce Connected feature and the launch of a bespoke model, the Phantom Platino.
The most obvious and important feature to keep is the presence of the Phantom. It is further enhanced by a newly polished horizontal line between the lights that run in the sun above the Pantheon Grille. It gives the Phantom a new and compelling modernity, reflecting the driver-focused attitude.
The subtle geometric transformation of the Pantheon Grille makes the ‘RR’ Badge of Honor and Spirit of Ecstasy mascot even more prominent when viewed from the front. The grille itself is now lit up, a feature debuted and released by Ghost. The headlights are adorned with intricate laser-cut bezel starlights, creating a visual connection to the Starlight Headliner inside, and adding added surprise and joy to the Phantom’s presence at night.
The Phantom’s side profile retains Rolls-Royce’s signature short front and long rear overhang, high wheelbase and wide c-pillar, the latter providing greater privacy to occupants. The silhouette preserves elegant key lines running from the Spirit of Ecstasy to the tapering rear tail. The ‘split-belt’ line starts at the front fender and slowly curves towards the rear door, emphasizing the car’s high dash-to-axle proportions, before it slowly falls towards the rear lights. which is like a lantern. The heavy undercut ‘waft line’ creates a strong shadow, which can be seen signaling the marque’s unparalleled ‘Magic Carpet Ride’.
