No. 19 Texas to Face Oklahoma in Big 12 Championship Game

Is there a better matchup for the Big 12 Tournament championship game than Oklahoma and Texas? Red River Rivalry will once again appear in full display as both teams look to continue to strengthen their hosting resumes, as a tournament title could push Oklahoma into the a top-16 seed or push Texas into the top eight seed conversation.

Their pitching continued to show and stopped the Longhorn line. The Longhorns have shown throughout the season that they can not only put up a run in the bundles but they can kill two outs, showing clutch hitting skill. If the Sooner pitching staff can shut down the Texas lineup, there’s a good chance they’ll get the win and get the Big 12 title.
Texas will win this game if …
They provide a lot of running support for their pitching staff. The Longhorn pitching staff has looked very good in three of their four games so far in the Big 12 Tournament, which has allowed five runs in three games. If Longhorn’s offense continues to stay hot on the plate and points run in bundles, they could rattle the Oklahoma staff who pitched early and take home the Big 12 Tournament title.
