LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)-Models at the upcoming Special Needs Fashion Show and Prom wore their dresses on Saturday.
Everyone went to the new Beautiful Butterfly Project location at the historic Wesley United Methodist Church on King St.
The organizer of the project, Judy Wolff, recently managed to move hundreds of her clothes into the basement of the building.
This allows her to better serve those who need a dress for any kind of special occasion.
“No matter what happens to you, you need the formal dress? Easy to find. I also make wedding gowns, I have a lot of wedding gowns, I also give there, bridesmaid dresses, I mean, you name it, I got it,” by Wolff.
Models browsing the outfits this weekend are set for the event to take place on June 12th.
The Special Needs Fashion Show and Prom is free for the special needs community and their carers.
It was hosted by American Legion Post 52 in La Crosse.
The organizers are asking those interested to come and register on the La Crosse Jaycees website. Click on the ‘Hollywood Nights’ photo to go to the registration form.
