The Chicago White Sox came back in an amazing fashion

The 2022 Chicago White Sox are nothing short of interesting. Fans are screaming that they can be seen to play better because they are an unequal team that continues to make poor decisions.

They are innocent to say and their pitching is usually good but weak at times. This is not the White Sox team we expect to see in 2022.

However, now the White Sox have excelled and more. They fought, cheated, and clung to get their own win against the Chicago Cubs. The game went 12 innings and the Sox made a few errors but came back a few times to win the game 5 to 4.

The Cubs took a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the ninth when the White Sox had their last breath. The Sox were able to tie it at one when AJ Pollock scored thanks to a wild pitch on Cubs pitching.

The Chicago White Sox were able to win this Sunday’s game in more innings.

The game went 10th and saw the Cubs score two runs to make it 3 to 1. It looks like the Sox will come out of it with a loss because taking two runs seems like a lot for a team. that ‘t be able to create many violations.

But thanks to a sacrificial fly by Andrew Vaughn, which allowed second baseman Josh Harrison to score, the Sox were able to draw within one. First baseman Jose Abreu was able to hit a single to the left field allowing shortstop Danny Medick to score from second thus tying the game at 3 each. The game continues into the 11th inning.

The Cubs were able to climb one to make it 4-3 when Alfonso Rivas ’sacrificial fly allowed a run across the plate. The White Sox didn’t have any stopping it today, though. In the lower part of the 11th, they scored when outfielder Adam Engel put a ball into the left field that allowed Pollock to score. The game will be tied again at that point.

Under the 11th, in a game of multiple questions, utility player Leury Garcia was called on an interference call when he “blocked” the Cub’s first baseman from catching the ball. Engel seemed to score and win the game for the Sox but he was told to return to second base.

The White Sox were able to hold the Cubs to a pointless top in the 12th inning and had a chance to get a winning run below the frame. They got a little help from catcher Yasmani Grandal who got a foul ball behind the plate after turning to find it in the air. That game was one of the highlights of the game.

The Cubs decided to bring their infield and some outfield to defend against a short hit in the infield area and prevent the runner from scoring.

But third baseman Jake Burger would not follow the script as he bagged the ball on the left field allowing Medick to score in a walk-off manner. The White Sox beat the Cubs 5 to 4.

It’s a story of trying hard, overcoming mistakes, and taking advantage of the Cubs ’mistakes to win the game. The White Sox are nowhere near what they need but there isn’t any stopping this team. They wanted to win and they did.

Let’s hope they have the same fighting spirit and don’t give up on the character the rest of the time. If they do, they can win a lot of close games.
