Two NYC Health + Hospitals Receive “A” Safety Grades From Independent, National Hospital Safety Organization

NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan and Queens are two of six New York City hospitals to receive an “A” for patient safety

NYC Health + Hospitals today announced that Metropolitan and Queens Hospitals have earned an ‘A’ Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade for spring 2022. This national distinction recognizes the achievements of the two hospitals in protecting patients from preventable injury and hospital error. NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens is the only hospital in the borough of Queens to receive an “A.” Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization committed to the quality, safety, and transparency of the U.S. health system.
