World University of Design students promote sustainable fashion

New Delhi, May 28 (PTI) Students at Sonepat’s World University of Design (WUD) presented their creations in a show here with the aim of raising awareness about sustainable fashion.

The show, dubbed “BULUGU goes POP”, was conceived by the university’s fashion club. It was held on Saturday on DLF Avenue.

The young designers showcased out-of-the-box fashion concepts, with a theme around ‘peppy blues’ and ‘boho denims’, a press release from WUD says.

The event is aimed at welcoming new opportunities for students and developing fashion choices that are consistent with continuity.

“Our students here have used this virtue to bring a bigger picture – that it is important to understand that land resources are limited and that we have to keep going if we are to take care of the big demand for fashionable clothing in the worldwide population.

“We are honored to be able to showcase raw talent from our university on DLF Avenue which is a prime fashion destination and encourage one and all to believe that fashion can be attractive despite being modest and unpretentious,” he said. said Sanjay Gupta, Vice Chancellor of the World University of Design.
